Julie Vos
Julie Vos is a fashion jewelry brand created by CEO and jewelry designer, Julie Vos. Established in 2006, the brand is modeled on the belief that with inspiration and discipline we create the beautiful world we live in. This philosophy translates in the design of every piece of jewelry and is at the core of their company values.
As the Wholesale Production Artist, I was involved in all aspects of B2B design and marketing. I created and uploaded website banners, designed weekly emails, updated branded sales sheets and guidelines, fulfilled trunk show event and seasonal advertising requests, in addition to various other design projects.
On top of these design tasks, I also became deeply interested in tracking analytics to see our Wholesale emails performed. I set up a detailed spreadsheet where we included the graphics, information about the designs, images, and copy that were used, open rate, click rate, revenue, and more for each email. This information was used to draw conclusions and inform strategy moving forward during monthly email re-cap meetings held with executives and department heads.
Additionally, I was involved in vendor and product sourcing for various projects, I spearheaded the creation of a 40+ page Wholesale Production Artist manual, and was deeply involved in training and onboarding a new member of the design team.
Web Banners
Collection and Home Page banners were updated weekly to reflect that week's product marketing focus. Banners often used the same photos, copy, and aesthetic as the emails that were being sent out that week.

Email Marketing
3-5 emails were sent weekly, depending on what we were working to promote that week. Emails topics included social image downloads, color features, season's best, Trade Show advertisements, free shipping promotions, product features, and more. Emails were sent to all wholesale accounts.

Sales Sheets
Templated sales sheets were updated throughout each month with curated products, fresh top banner imagery, and copy depending on the relevant month, season, or theme that we were promoting at that time.
Barcode Collection
One large-scale project that I was involved in getting off of the ground is an 88-page booklet of all the jewelry pieces that were available in Fall 2022 with their SKUs and barcodes. The intent of this project was for Wholesale partners to receive the booklet to use in-store when checking customers out. This document would be updated seasonally, and would create organization, accuracy, and consistency within the stores' internal inventory systems. This project involved cross-departmental collaboration and went through multiple iterations over the span of 2-3 months.
Trunk Show Advertisements
Another project that I was heavily involved in was the fulfillment of Trunk Show advertisement requests. For these projects, I worked closely with the Wholesale Sales team and with retailers directly on specifications of their requests. Retailers had the option to choose from a few different scenarios across postcard, email, reminder email, and social media layouts. Trunk Show scenarios and templates were art directed, designed, and prepared by the Wholesale Design Manager at the start of each season. I would edit these templates according to the individual retailer's needs, often adding additional information and perfecting typographic layout and stylization.

Wholesale Advertisements
Another large part of my role was to fulfill wholesale advertisement requests. The Wholesale Design Manager would create fresh, new designs every quarter using updated model and product imagery for about 10 different advertisement mediums including emails, postcards, web banners, magazines, posters, and more. Once requests were received, I edited existing templates with specific information that pertained to each different account. Dimensions, product placement, and model imagery often had to be altered due to specifications requested by the account. Once the advertisement was designed, I would send a proof to the client, we would communicate about any changes that needed to be made, and a final, high resolution file would be sent to them.
